Barrier Aluminum Storm Windows

Lang Exterior has been making custom storm windows since 1953. They are built to the same quality standards as our vinyl replacement windows, so you are assured the tightest possible fit. Barrier storm windows offer quality, durability, practicality and energy efficiency. Less projection from the house gives a smaller buffer zone leaving less air to be heated and wasted, and being fully weather-stripped around the storm panels reduces air infiltration. The extruded aluminum frame and all metal parts make a stronger, sturdier window. One of the best features of these storm windows is the drop-in glazing. This allows the glass to be reglazed without disassembling the frame. Simply remove the spline, drop in the glass, then replace the spline. "The elements are no match for the Barrier." Master frame Corners - screwed together in all 4 corners with 2 screws each - if house settles the window will move with it
Metal Corner Keys - will not break off like plastic keys do
Pre-Drilled Weep Holes - allow water and moisture to drain from window
Metal Latches, with groove cut out of sash for easier access

Gray Tinted

Transparent glass with a gray hue. The tint comes from color blended into the glass itself.

Bronze Tinted

Transparent glass with a bronze hue. The tint comes from color blended into the glass itself.

Frosted Glass

Obscured glass for privacy. Standard frosted glass uses acid etching, giving a textured look.

Tempered

Glass that is stronger and harder to break as well as safer if it does break.
